Goat Rock is our off-grid retreat. No cell reception, no infrastructure, just nature. We are building a house, catching water, making power from the sun, and turning the paddocks back into forest.

The rock
There is usually something standing on it.
The rock sits on the first ridge above the gate. Most mornings there is a goat on it, looking down at whoever is opening the latch. We named the place after it, and the sign followed.
